This car started life as a 1948 Ford 2-door coupe, the steel body met a designer who decided to French in the headlights and taillights, removed the door handles to pop with a remote, paint out the chrome, give it a custom bumper on the front and fill in the back end to remove the bumper. Then, topped it off with it's beautiful 2-tone paint job. The lower half of the car is in a metallic Mahogany, and the upper half is metallic Champaigne. The show-quality paint is in excellent condition. Custom hand-painted pin stripes were added to the nose and trunk lid. The custom trunk lid houses a custom carpeted trunk with a covered access door to the battery.
The complete interior has been custom designed in the 2-tone colors matching the exterior. The seats, floor console, door panels, dash board, tilt steering wheel and column, cruise control, power windows, power brakes, AM/FM CD player and air conditioning are all custom made for this car. The engine compartment is all custom finished and is home for the new crate 350 ci V-8 with less than 2,000 miles on it. The radiator is new, along with the battery. This car is complete turn-key and needs nothing. This is the first time this car has been for sale since it's completion. Please don't hesitate, because it is car show ready, and it would cost you a lot more to try to build it yourself.
